QRE1113 Digital Line Sensor Breakout
The QRE1113 Digital Breakout features an integrated IR emitting LED and an IR sensitive phototransistor. By measuring how quickly the onboard 10nF capacitor discharges, your microcontroller can accurately determine the reflectivity of the surface below.
This sensor is a core component for MakerPH builds, offering the reliability needed for competitive robotics where every millisecond of sensor response counts.
Key Features
- Digital I/O Compatible: No ADC required; works by measuring discharge time on a standard digital pin.
- Wide Voltage Range: Fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V logic levels (perfect for ESP32, Arduino, or RP2040).
- Robotics Optimized: Features an optimal sensing distance of 3mm for low-clearance robot bases.
- Space-Saving Design: At just 7.62mm x 13.97mm, it is easy to mount in arrays for advanced line detection.
- Standard Interfacing: Includes a 2.54mm (0.1″) pitch header and a dedicated mounting hole for secure installation.
